Abstract(in English) In this paper, we report a detection method of intestinal obstructions using CycleGAN electronic cleaning from CT volumes of ileus patients. Segmentation of the intestines is difficult because the intestines contain foods and fecal materials, which have similar intensities to ascites intensities on CT volumes. In this method, we remove residual materials in CT volumes using CycleGAN. We detect intestinal obstruction by segmenting intestine by region growing from the generated CT volumes. In our experiments, the proposed method detected 7 out of 14 intestinal obstruction sites from 7 cases by removing residual materials in CT volumes.
