Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The authors have proposed a disaster prevention broadcasting system based on audio data hiding scheme. In this system, messages regarding disasters are embedded into siren sounds by using audio data hiding techniques, and transmitted from a loud speaker without any internet connections and telephone networks. The embedded messages can be extracted from the recorded siren sound at the receiver such as a smartphone or a tablet, and displayed visually on the screen. In the previous studies, it has been shown that the messages can be transmitted with almost no errors within around 15m distance between the loud speaker and the receiver in an indoor scenario. In this report, we introduce the primal results on this study as well as some research projects currently tackled by the authors' groups.
