Abstract(in English) | A Si3N4 waveguide is expected to solve the issue of two photon absorption (TPA) on a Si waveguide at relatively high power range and the use of a Si3N4 waveguide would be much better than a Si waveguide after the staring power of TPA influence. In this work, the appropriate power range of a Si3N4 waveguide is examined by checking the starting power of TPA influence and the input power dependency of the amount of SPM-induced spectral change in both of Si and Si3N4 waveguides. |
