Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Recently, many young people play games on a daily basis as part of their lives according to a report by National Hospital Organization. We therefore attempted to record game oriented information with "LifeLog" systems that record personal life and experience as digital data. However, the existing systems are designed to record behavior with the movement in the real world, not to record information while playing games. It is therefore hindered to retrieve situations that people want to recall. Herein, we design a "GameLog" system to deal with game-oriented information. We then developed a prototype implementation and examined a method of handling character movement, action records, and situation information as extended records of the life log for large-scale multiplayer online games (MMOG). We also considered that it is feasible for the prototype to work as an extension of the "LifeLog" system according to the frequency of occurrence of events in the Game. |
