Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) It is considered that infants have the ability to double articulation analysis (to segment into phonemes and words) unsupervisedly by listening to their native language utterances. In this study, we attempt unsupervised double segmentation of natural speech in a video game environment. Until now, it has been shown that the double articulation analysis of speech utterance consisting of a limited vocabulary that is clearly spoken can be realized engineeringly (Taniguchi, Nagasaka, & Nakashima, 2016). In this study, we attempt unsupervised double segmentation of natural speech in a video game environment. At the same time, we test the possibility of learning segmented words using simplified Q-learning that deals only with rewards without delay.
