Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | The heat index WBGT only using environmental information such as temperature and humidity, is used as a heat stress risk management of industrial workers. Although this information is used, there is an issue that the risk is frequently notified even though there is no subjective symptom of poor physical condition, especially in an intense summer heat environment in construction site. To solve this issue, we propose a method to estimate the risk of heat stress using the vital sign such as pulse rate, action information such as momentum, profile information, and lifestyle information on anamneses, BMI, and exercise habits. The performance of proposed method was evaluated using input data consisting of the correct answer of physical condition, profile and lifestyle information, and environmental information. The correct answer was extracted from the subjective symptoms of poor physical condition caused by heat stress. Moreover, profile and lifestyle information were extracted from the questionnaire, and the environmental information, vital sign, and the action information were extracted from sensors of a wearable device worn by workers. Then, the flexibility was evaluated by dividing the data into training and evaluation set which was collected from multiple sites on different year. As results, the false acceptance rate in the case of rejection rate equal to 0% is 92.4% when only using environmental information, 23.4% when using environmental information, vital sign, action information, and profile information, and improved to 17.7% when using the proposed method. |
