Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | In our lives, professional life takes a very long time. In that life, working with an unpleasant feeling, such as "unwilling" or "boring," can cause a strong mental workload and damage our mental health. However, working with positive emotions, such as "worthwhile" and "joy," are considered not to impair mental health compared to working with unpleasant emotions. Hence, in this study, we examined the emotions during the task (the puzzle was adopted in this study) from the psychological viewpoint by Profile of Mood States 2nd Edition (POMS 2) and the physiological viewpoint by EEG. As a result, different time-dependent changes of the alpha-band EEG at Fpz, Fz, and Cz sites were observed between the presence and absence of the emotion "vigor." Therefore, it was suggested that the "vigor" during the task could be extracted by EEG. |
