Abstract(in English) Thin flexible printed circuits are required with the miniaturization of electronic devices. The narrow signal line is required for a thin substrate to obtain the specific characteristic impedance, however its conductor loss increase. In this study, a microstrip line with a slitted ground is proposed as a thin and low loss transmission line. The attenuation constant of the proposed line is reduced by quarter compared to that of a same thickness microstrip line. Moreover, the feasibility of the proposed line is indicated by the measured evaluation.
