Congestion control method based on contents priority in Information-centric networking

Abstract(in English) Information-Centric Networking (ICN) is a new network architecture designed to cope with increasing network traffic. In ICN, the relay node has a cache function, so there is no need to always obtain the content from the server. Therefore, the effects of shortening the content acquisition time and reducing the server load are expected. On the other hand, it may be returned from different sources and routes for each chunk, and it is difficult to apply the end-to-end congestion control method. To solve this problem, ICN proposes a hop-by-hop congestion control method. However, most of them focus on fairness between flows and do not consider the priority of each content. In this paper, we propose a new congestion control method based on the priority of each content based on the Hop by Hop congestion control method.
