Abstract(in English) | RNP route implementations to busy airports are being planed to support aircraft navigation in EU, Japan and other countries. GNSS is required to be installed as a navigation equipment to fly RNP air routes. However, GNSS is sometimes unusable due to interferences, intended jammings and satellite faults. Therefore, it is being studied that DME/DME positioning is applied to RNP air routes navigation in order to support aircraft safety and efficiency in case of GNSS losses. Standardization has started in 2018 at EUROCAE which is the European standardization organization. DME ground facilities require ability called "integrity" which informs anomaly to pilots in case that the ground facilities provide undesired position information. This research focused on tropospheric propagation delay which causes ranging error of DME and clarified the impact on the integrity assurance quantitively by worst-case analyses using a ray-tracing method. |
