Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this study, we propose an AR navigation system that uses Microsoft HoloLens as a simple and no radioactive exposure means for presenting visible information instead of CT imaging and X-ray fluoroscopy performed in Interventional Radiology (IVR). In this paper, in order to show the usefulness of the proposed method in actual puncture surgery, human perception error of the AR navigation is explored in a two-dimensional environment, where the error is the distance between the theoretical position to be displayed by the AR system and the position perceived by the subject wearing the HoloLens system. Note that in the proposed AR display system, a guideline is displayed around the marker so that the pose of the HoloLens can be adjusted to reduce the perception error caused by differences in the subject’s head shape and the HoloLens pose. Results of the experiments show the validity of the guideline, and demonstrate that the perception error mean is 1.5±1.3mm under the condition where the perception error was minimized.
