Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Feasibility of acoustic sensing for occlusion areas combining super-directivity speaker and pulse compression technique has been investigated experimentally. However, the detailed mechanism of the propagation process has not been sufficiently discussed, and therefore numerical examination is important to clarify this issue. In this study, numerical simulation is performed using the governing equation of the sound field considering the nonlinearity; the propagation process of the secondary wave field generated from the parametric sound source is numerically examined. In this presentation, we compare the propagation process of the ultrasound and the secondary wave. It is shown that the secondary wave travels to occlusion areas by computing the diffraction process of each frequency component of sound. In addition, it is demonstrated numerically that the secondary wave is effective for the object detection in occlusion areas.
