Abstract(in English) We demonstrate the feasibility of spatial channel networking that includes spatial bypassing, spectral grooming, spatial-lane change, and spatial-channel protection. The demonstration was conducted over a spatial channel network testbed that comprises two types of low-loss space/wavelength-hierarchical optical cross-connect prototypes, which were connected with four-core fibers.
