Abstract(in English) | Common EMG features such as RMS and MPF represent the average characteristics in the short-term window. Therefore, when we want to capture the temporal change of the features in more detail, it is desirable to obtain the feature values based on the result of wavelet analysis, which has better temporal resolution. However, multiresolution analysis, which is a general discrete wavelet analysis method, has a problem of "lack of shift invariance". To avoid this problem, we perform redundant wavelet analysis. As the result, we can more flexibly select a set of wavelet coefficients by which we calculate feature values of a certain time. In this paper, we propose the method to select wavelet coefficients by shifting the time-frequency area of each frequency zone. And we describe how the wavelet coefficient sets cause difference in feature values. |
