Abstract(in English) | In this study, we investigated a non-contact stirring method for liquid in a small cell by high-intensity aerial ultrasonic wave(drive frequency:20 kHz). Specifically, we attempted to stir a small amount of liquid in a small container by irradiating high-intensity aerial ultrasonic wave from outside of the container. In previous study, by using the proposed method, 150μl of pure water or ethanol sealed in the small container with an inner diameter of 5 × 5mm was successfully stirred. However, the above mechanism has not been verified to confirm it experimentally. In addition, the vibration velocity distribution and the absolute value of the amplitude when the container wall is excited with the sound wave irradiation intensity that enables stirring are also important events for elucidating the mechanism. In this report, in order to elucidate the detailed mechanism of the proposed method, we performed a detailed observation of the behavior of the liquid in a micro container using a high-speed camera when the container was irradiated with high-intensity aerial ultrasonic waves. |
