| Abstract(in English) | In the event of a large scale disaster such as the Nankai Trough Earthquake, wide-area medical rescue activities will be required. In such cases, disaster medical assistance from outside the prefecture, like the DMAT (Disaster Medical Assistance Team), will be not available soon in areas with low population density and away from urban areas. Therefore, Kochi prefecture promotes rescue activities with the residents in order to endure until getting support from outside the prefecture. In this paper, we propose a disaster aid station management system that enables local government staff and residents to operate the base for medical rescue activities. Also, when getting support from outside, the proposed system provides data exchange support function for smoothly collaborative activities. We verified the effectiveness of the proposed system by conducting training using our system at the disaster medical rescue drill in Konan city, Kochi prefecture, held on November 17, 2019. |
