Abstract(in English) | In this study, we examined the general social credibility of (1) whether social networks obtained through Twitter and face-to-face and the social support gained from each differ depending on the degree of intimacy with the other, and (2) how these relate to the psychological well-being of users. (Hereinafter referred to as general reliability) and the effects of social skills.A survey was conducted for undergraduate students enrolled in universities in the Kanto region. As a result of analyzing 304 people, the following two points were clarified. (1) General reliability and social skills had a direct positive effect on psychological well-being. (2) People with low general credibility interacted with close friends on Twitter, and a great deal of social support was gained from social networks via Twitter, but these did not lead to an increase in psychological well-being. |
