Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | In quantum information science, information theory researchers should lead physics researchers in order to execute Wiener’s philosophy promoting engineering applications directly from mathematics and making a broad social contribution. The basis of quantum information science is quantum communication theory. By connecting Ikehara’s interpretation of quantum probability theory to the Wiener idea, quantum communication theory has a solid thought. As a result, when researchers go to various applications based on quantum communication theory, the thought becomes a signpost. This paper points out the advantages and disadvantages of estimation theory and detection theory based on Ikehara’s guiding philosophy, and introduces research on quantum gyro-sensors, which are new sensor technologies that merge the advantages. |
