Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Machine learning (ML) is expected to be a promising technology to promote innovations in optical communications. A number of applications of ML have been reported in different aspects of optical communications such as nonlinearity compensation, performance monitoring, network failure prediction and so on. In this report, we review ML-based technologies for nonlinearity compensation, and reprot on ML-based demodulation method for nonlinear transmission system.
