Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Optical flow which represent dynamical visual variation plays significant role for sighted people to localize and move in environment. In this paper, we research the effect that understand the passage environment by provided the information simulated dynamical visual variation. We proposed a method to represent the variation of viewpoint for 0.5 seconds as arrow using a subjective viewpoint image. As a verification experiment, we verified whether subjects could recognize the environment by providing the video pattern of the arrow variation. We asked subjects to sketch the passage environment recognized by them as a figure. We calculated The correct answer rate of the passage environment perception using the figures drawn by them. As a result, subjects were possible to recognize passage environment with a correct answer rate of 91.1%. Therefore, we concluded that the passage information was able to be understood by the dynamical visual variation information.
