Abstract(in English) In October 2016, International Safety Standard, IEC60204-1 6th edition has been revised since 2005. Revisions of this standard are expected to give impact on the electrical design of machinery due to its wide range of applications. JIS B9960-1 was also revised in 2019 as (IDT) to the IEC version. Revision points are to be explained from the standpoint of actual machine evaluator.
