Abstract(in English) | In this paper, we propose a reversible data hiding method, where the data embedded into the original image can be extracted in the encrypted domain. The proposed scheme first divides the original image into multiple blocks and then determines the embedding order according to the block features. The target data is embedded using the histogram-based reversible data hiding technique. Subsequently, the block scrambling image encryption is implemented with the same block size as the embedding process. The main feature of this method is that the embedded data can be directly extracted from the encrypted image without decryption. Thus, the proposed method can be applied to image retrieval in the encrypted domain. Further, this method can embed the target data after encryption and extract the data after decryption. Additionally, the encrypted image obtained by our method shows a high performance in both confidentiality and lossless compression efficiency. |
