Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | K-repetitions method, which transmits the same packet a predetermined number of times, is a promising approach for uplink grant-free ultra-reliable and low latency communications (URLLC) in the fifth-generation mobile communications systems (5G). In K-repetitions method, there is an inherent problem that the improvement of reliability is restricted by packet collision among mobile stations with excessive repetitions. In this report, we propose a repetition control method using terminal mobility to alleviate such packet collision. The feature of the proposed method is to reduce the number of repetitions while retaining reliability, which is inspired by the fact that high terminal mobility can exploit the large time diversity benefit. Moreover, the effectiveness of our proposed method is demonstrated in comparison with the traditional K-repetitions method by means of computer simulations. |
