| Abstract(in English) | The purpose of this paper is to make a fine-grained concept regarding the treatment of the network account assigned to university retirees. It needs to be determined whether the network accounts of retirees should be suspended or not because Yamaguchi Prefectural University's SMTP server was cracked using these account. First, this discussion will begin by pointing out the problem which is intrinsic to network accounts while explaining the details of the incident that occurred. Second, through analysing the role of network accounts, a fine-grained concept regarding the treatment of network accounts will be discussed. Finally, it is pointed out that using the network freely is based on privacy as an essential concept and therefore it may not be permittable for the administrator to unilaterally decide things. Also, the role of network accounts that is more fundamental than the issue of privacy will be discussed. |
