Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In the holographic data storage, data patterns are represented by images in which 0 or 1 are arranged in a two-dimensional array. These images are degraded by the shrinkage of the recording medium and optical noise during recording/readout process. As a result, the symbol error rate (SER) increases. In this paper, five types of equalization methods of LMMSE, QMMSE, Zero Forcing, Wiener filter, and Volterra equalizer were applied to the design of the FIR filter coefficient for image restoration, and the SER reduction effect was examined.
