Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Research and development for the application of machine learning to various areas of signal processing in wireless communication is being extensively performed in recent years, aiming at the improvement of the communication performance. The considered region of application ranges from the physical layer to application layers. We show a first example, in which we apply machine learning to the design of distortion compensation circuit for a power amplifier in a wireless system transmitter; namely, we report the compensation performance of the distortion compensation circuit using a neural network for the nonlinear distortion of the power amplifier. Moreover, we show activity related to machine learning technology applied to communication control.
