Abstract(in English) | In order to estimate the position of a diver in a submarine search at the time of a flood accident in shallow water, we used a receiver attached to three or more buoys installed on the surface of the sea to receive electromagnetic signals radiated from a transmitter attached to the diver. We are considering focusing on the received power level. So far, we have verified the proposed positioning algorithm on the assumption that the transmitting and receiving antennas transmit and receive electromagnetic waves with the same linear polarization. In practice, the direction of the diver transmitter changes from time to time and is not necessarily consistent with the polarization of the receiving antenna. In this report, we verify the transmission characteristic distribution between the transmitting and receiving antennas by means of numerical simulation and pseudo-scale model experiment in the case of using a cross dipole antenna that can receive orthogonal two polarized waves parallel to the sea surface as an antenna attached to the buoy receiver. |
