Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) When individuals use copyrighted works, the understanding of copyright law is often partial, and few people know exactly what type of usage is infringement or an act that violates the law. Individuals are free to use their copyrighted works as long as they can be selected by hardware and software functions according to their ethics including not only legal norms but also other norms. How are the norms of individuals governing behavior at this time formed? Taking music copyright as an example, we consider the relationship formed by the parties through the copyrighted work, the reciprocity in M. Morse's “Essai sur le don”, and the regulation by power in the information society.
