Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) When performing a movement that moves the arm continuously, such as a manual tracking, discontinuous movement called “movement intermittency” occurs aperiodically. However, the specific cause is unknown. Therefore, we focused on the eye hand coordination, and measured the line of sight during manual tracking and tracing tasks. In this study. we used wavelet analysis to extract the location of intermittency, and the relationship between intermittency and eye-movement was investigated by comparing with eye-movements obtained by gaze measurement. As a result, it was found that the ratio of the components of eye movement and the component of intermittent movement change depending on the task. Moreover, points at which motor intermittency occurred seemed to be related to the high curvature points on the path, but some points tended to appear near the fixation points of the gaze.
