| Abstract(in English) | It is important to extract region-specific travel information from a large number of blogs posted to tourist information websites. However, with the existing searching technologies, such as posted-date based or keyword based sort, it is still difficult to detect local or region-specific information efficiently. In this study, we have proposed an approach for detecting and recommending travel blogs based on region-restrictedness. Specifically, we first calculate the region relevance of each blog to a certain region. Then, by analyzing the content of each blog in two ways, we calculate the category relevance between each blog and each travel category. Finally, we try to find the blogs containing region-specific information by combine the two types of relevance. |
