Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The purpose of this study is to validate the accuracy of measuring flow velocity with parallel imaging technique, which is effective in reducing acquisition time. We performed 3D cine phase-contrast MR imaging with prospective pseudo ECG gating using a 3-Tesla MR imaging scanner with 12ch head matrix and neck matrix receiving coils. The parallel imaging technique (PAT) factors was changed from 2 to 4. As the PAT factor increased, the spatially-averaged velocity error rate increased, but never exceeded 10%. In the PAT factors used in this study, no significant measurement error was observed, so this technique can contribute to save the acquisition time.
