Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In recent years, due to the increase in mobile traffic, demand for further channel capacity is expected. By using the millimeter-wave band, large-capacity communication can be realized by using a wider frequency than before. In addition, the miniaturization of the antenna makes it possible to install multi-element antennas on moving objects such as cars and buses. On the other hand, there is a possibility that services such as the use of video will be expanded in the mobile body by automatic driving. In order to cope with such use cases, it is necessary to realize large-capacity communication by massive MIMO transmission from a base station to a single user equipment (single user). However, there is a problem that the channel capacity is not expected to be improved by single-user massive MIMO using millimeter waves due to the large diffraction loss in the millimeter wave band and high propagation path correlation. In this paper, we propose a large-capacity communication realization method using two-dimensionally arranged AF (Amplify-and-Forward) relay stations. The effectiveness of the proposed method is reported by numerical simulation.
