Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) For analytic purposes of the scientific processes on how food influence our health, the measurement data on medical or genic factors have been accumulated by clinical trials. At present, however, development of the statistical methodology, which enable us to make deep scientific evaluation of the data, may not make progress sufficiently. We present our development of the methodology which contribute to the statistical analyses on estimation of the food-health process. Specifically, we propose a statistical model for explaining the relationship between time-varying distribution of antibody against the flu and some medical covariates, such as age and Natural Killer cell activity, in the class of non-homogenous Hidden Markov Model (HMM). And then, we show some results of statistical analyses by using the model.
