Abstract(in English) | In recent years, a wireless communication technology called LPWA has emerged and started to be used for the use case of sending small amounts of data such as sensor data for power saving. In particular, LoRa, a type of LPWA, uses a 920MHz band that can be used without a license in Japan, and modules with chips that support LoRa modulation are commercially available. When considering operation of IoT system with LoRa over wide area in long term, factors other than communication distance may affect RSSI. Therefore, we analyze the operational data for half a year in a courtesy bus location management system using LoRa and investigate the influence of factors other than communication distance on RSSI. |
