Transmission Control Scheme for Multi-AP/Multi-Link WLAN

Abstract(in English) We focus on Multi-AP system to realize stable real-time applications such as video streaming using WLAN in manufacturing field and logistics field. In this report, we apply Multi-Link aggregation to Multi-AP system, where each STA has multiple WLAN radios and connections with different APs, and propose an efficient transmission control scheme for the system. In our proposed scheme, MAC functions on different APs can transmit data flow in a collaborative way thanks to minimum assistance of a coordination function and cooperation among MAC functions on a STA. Our simulation test results show that the proposed scheme mitigates average latency by avoiding duplicated frame transmissions among links and mitigates maximum latency thanks to recovery through multiple links when a link is in a bad state.
