Abstract(in English) | LoRaWAN is one of LPWA (Low Power Wide Area) wireless transmission technology, where can transmit data with low-power consumption and covering long-range wireless area. In this paper, LoRaWAN system was constructed and a field experiment for measuring RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indicator) and PER (Packet Error Ratio) performances was carried out. As the result of the filed experiments, the maximum transmission distance between a base station and a mobile device was about 9.4 km, and the RSSI performance of the field experiment had almost the same tendency with simulated results. Moreover, LoRaWAN system for detecting geometrical information of some kind of mobile devices in nursing facility was developed, and the details of the system was described in this paper. |
