| Abstract(in English) | The author was elevated to IEEE Fellow, effective 1 January 2019, for contributions on research, development, and application of image/video coding. In this lecture, I will look back on my research on image coding for about a quarter of a century and introduce some topics. Then I would like to give details on the process of applying for and selecting the IEEE Fellow qualification, including what is generally not well known, according to my experiences. |
