| Abstract(in English) | Many braille fonts are available on the web, but these are hard to use in many cases. One of the reasons is a design of the font. User can change the appearance of braille text by changing braille font from one to another. Then, the size of each dot and spacing between two dots may vary due to an inconsistency of the design between two braille fonts. Another reason is a license of the font. In general, different fonts are licensed under different licenses. It is difficult to resolve these licensing problem, especially in a commercial products. We developed yet another 6-dot braille font called ``SixBraille'' to solve these problems. SixBraille has carefully-designed 12 different appearances. The fixed-width and fixed-point-position feature of SixBraille plays an important role in a consistency of the appearance. SixBraille is licensed as public domain. Users can use SixBraille without fee and any restrictions regardless of commercial or non-commercial. |
