Abstract(in English) | Recently, the momentum of the introduction of the indoor positioning systems are increasing to improve productivity in factories. In response to this, Murata has developed an indoor positioning system OWLiQ tracking based on Bluetooth LE. This system consists of transmitters attached on tracking objects and multiple receivers installed in a building. The receivers detect beacon packets periodically transmitted by transmitters and the system estimates the position of the transmitter from these detected information. Since the receivers are connected by Bluetooth LE mesh network, there is no need to install a communication cable to each receiver. And that makes it remarkably easy to setup the indoor positioning system. In this presentation, the next generation OWLiQ tracking receiver which uses Bluetooth v5.1 Angle of Arrival technology is introduced. |
