Abstract(in English) Utilization of Internet of things (IoT) devices has widely spread, and suppressing the increasing amount of data due to the growth of IoT has become a challenge. On the other hand, IoT devices like sensor systems are required to ensure data reliability. Thus, suppressing the amount of data and ensuring reliability become important problems to be solved. Aggregate authentication is proposed to solve the problems. It improves the efficiency of communication and integrity of data by aggregating message authentication codes (MACs or tags) attached to messages sent by IoT devices. We studied software and hardware implementation of evaluation systems for Aggregate Message Authentication (AMA), where the MAC aggregation rate varies depending on assumed upper bound on the number of unauthorized devices. This paper discusses some specific examples of IoT services to which the aggregate authentication scheme can be applied. We also present issues that should be solved when applying the proposed scheme to actual systems, together with solutions to some of them.
