Abstract(in English) Mechanism of electron emission was investigated for oxidized surfaces of phosphorus(P)-doped diamonds. Ultraviolet photoelectron spectroscopy and field-emitted electron spectroscopy were simultaneously carried out to determine original energy of the emitted electrons. The results indicated that the electrons were emitted from the conduction band of the diamond, with a major difference in emission mechanism compared to its hydrogen-terminated surface.
