[Invited Lecture] Secure and Effective Caching Scheme for Information-centric Wireless Sensor Networks

Abstract(in English) Recently, modern devices of the Internet of things are widely and deeply spread in our daily life, such as smart cities, home networks, and healthcare services. In this scenario, sensing data must be managed not only effectively but also securely. For the above situation, in this paper, we address a novel effective and secure caching scheme in wireless sensor networks (WSNs) using the information-centric network (ICN) design and the blockchain technique. We note that the caching mechanism is one of the critical technologies in ICN studies. In the proposed scheme, there is a feature and benefit that an autonomous-decentralized mechanism can be provided based on the combination of ICN, blockchain, and WSNs. Moreover, we respectively demonstrate the effectiveness and the feasibility of the proposed scheme using computer simulation and testbed experiments.
