Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) As a novel multiplexing method for wireless communications, OAM (Orbital Angular Momentum) is attracting attention due to its orthogonality among OAM waves with different quantum numbers at a single frequency. We have been developing a loop antenna array to generate the OAM waves. In the actual implementation of the antenna, there was a problem that scattering waves from the antenna feed lines were received as interference waves. To reduce the interference, resistors were inserted where the amplitude of the current standing wave on the conductor of the loop antenna was minimized. In 3-cm-distance eight-value multiplexing transmitting characteristics at 5.28GHz for the loop antenna array with resistors, a transmission isolation, which is maximum ratio of transmission and interference waves, became 2.6dB in simulation. In addition, when resistors were inserted at only two current minimum points nearest a feed point for each loop, the transmission isolation became 6.8dB in simulation and 9.7dB in measurement. Mesured transmission isolation was improved by 6.2dB in comparison with that of the loop antenna array without resistor.
