| Abstract(in English) | In edge computing, a low-response time is realized by placing virtual servers (i.e., VMs or containers) in wireless base stations, etc. that are close to end-user devices. Virtual servers are migrated to follow moving end-user devices and to retain the responsiveness. Due to many people movement in a short time (e.g., commute), a large amount of network traffic by virtual server migration for many handovers adversely affects traffic of application services. Suppressing the amount of migration traffic by scheduling migration of virtual servers is effective. The amount of migration traffic cannot be controlled effectively in migration scheduling of conventional methods. In this paper, we propose a method of migration management for a control of the migration traffic amount. |
