[Poster Presentation] Time Series Forecasting Number of Dengue Patients using Simple Seasonal Exponential Smoothing Method

Abstract(in English) Dengue fever is a disease in Asia and Africa. Forecasting of dengue disease is useful for preparing the area for surveillance, prevention and control of the disease. We collected data from 1853 dengue patients from 2009 to 2019 in Saraphi Hospital, Chiang Mai Province, Thailand. The data were analyzed for prediction by Time Series Forecasting using Simple Seasonal Exponential Smoothing Method (SSES). We found that Root Mean Square Error of the model is 0.20 persons per month.
