Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | In a large-scale network, centralized control of all network devices with a single SDN controller is undesirable because of controller capacity, expandability, and bottlenecks in the event of a failure. In order to reduce the inconsistency of the state between multiple logically centralized SDN controllers, a method of assigning a switch group where traffic is concentrated to each controller has been proposed. However, the controller cannot respond to load fluctuations, which may increase the synchronization frequency and decrease the network performance. In this paper, we proposed a method for dynamically assigning switches and controllers that requires multiple SDN controllers, focusing on the amount of switch movement of assignment change in addition to the ratio of inconsistency between controllers. A simulation experiment was performed, it was confirmed that a group of switches with a large amount of traffic was assigned to the same controller, and the assignment with a small difference from the previous state could be performed. |
