Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In recent years, effective utilization of biological signals from the brain activity has been progressing in medical science and industrial applications. The brain activity can be considered as circuit network activity in the gray matter, and a small current is then generated in the corresponding area. Measuring brain activity is used preoperative diagnosis of brain disease. By estimating source localization in addition to this, it is expected to develop various fields including advanced medicine such as identifying pathogenesis and investigating brain functions. The electric signals caused by this current can be measured as brain waves on scalp. We had considered EEG source localization using lead field matrix whose elements are defined as the ratio of current density and observed potential. In this study, we do an experiment for healthy person who is 22 years old and we estimated brain wave source by using experimental results. we estimate target position by using proposed method, and the effectiveness of the proposed method is confirmed.
