| Abstract(in English) | Information-centric networking (ICN) is an emerging architecture with the support of pervasive in-network caching, which makes the data life-cycle management be difficult. The data suffer from various attacks, such as data misuse attack, illegal cross-domain data transfer attack, and false claim attack. The existing mechanisms typically focus on the protection of a specific data-oriented operations and the regulation compliance have not been considered. To solve these problems, we propose a blockchain-based data life cycle protection framework (BDLP) to design transactions and smart contracts to establish a trustworthy environment for data management in ICN. In BDLP, we design data dam blockchain node to locally control registration and restrict data flow, besides the function of a blockchain node. We elaborate on the transactions, smart contracts, and data retrieval procedure and then introduce the implementations of BDLP. |
