Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, the Nyquist optical time division multiplexing (N-OTDM) transmission method have attracted attention in order to improve spectral efficiency and transmission speed. In order to achieve a high optical signal-to-noise ratio, an N-OTDM scheme based on correlation detection has been proposed. In order to construct correlation receiver, we proposed an analog integrated differential detection (AIDD) method. The AIDD method performs the integration required for correlation detection by using the low-pass characteristics of an electronic device as an analog integration circuit. So, receiver parameters such as the 3 dB cutoff frequency of the analog integrator affect the correlation detection output, which deteriorate the de-multiplexing and filtering of N-OTDM signals. In this paper, we investigate the cut-off frequency dependence of signal quality and inter-channel interference when using AIDD for N-OTDM signal de-multiplexing.
