On discretisation with the Galerkin method using the Hdiv inner product without the barycentric element for the EFIE

Abstract(in English) A novel discretisation method for the electric field integral equation~(EFIE) based on the Galerkin method using the $H_{rm div}$ inner product is discussed. The Galerkin method using the $H_{rm div}$ inner product is one of methods to discretise the EFIE into a well-conditioned equation. We show that the formulation based on this discretisation method is almost (but not exactly) identical with that of the EFIE preconditoined with the Calder'{o}n preconditioning. This leads us to apply the discretisation method without the barycentric elements, which has been developed for the EFIE with Calder'{o}n's preconditoining, to the discretisation using the $H_{rm div}$ inner product. This numerical method is validated through a numerical example.
